High Bay fluorescent fixtures usually use a T8 or T5 linear fluorescent bulb and each fixture uses between 4-6 bulbs. These fixtures provide a longer life than metal halide bulbs, and generally provide a better light output with less energy consumption.

High Bay and Low Bay fixtures are currently going through an industry wide overhaul. The old high pressure sodium and metal halide fixtures are now being replaced with very energy efficient T5 and T8 fixtures. These fixtures generally come in 4 lamp and 6 lamp versions with the appropriate ballast. The T5 and T8 high bay fixtures offer early back pack periods on electricity costs and lamp replacements. We still have a large selection of High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halide High Bay lamps!
